On 9–10 June 2026, the EMERALD consortium met in Warsaw for the 8th General Assembly, hosted by CloudFerro. The meeting brought together project partners for two days of discussions, joint work and planning as the project is approaching its final phase.
The first day was mainly dedicated to the EMERALD pilots. Partners discussed their current status, planned the next steps, identified what the pilots still need from the project components, and worked together on the EMERALD environments for pilots required for their deployment and validation.

The second day focused on the exploitation workshop, during which the consortium reflected on the future of EMERALD results and discussed how the developed solutions, components and project outcomes could be used after the project ends.
In addition, partners reviewed the progress of individual work packages, discussed the status of ongoing tasks and deliverables, and aligned on the activities planned for the final months of the project.
The meeting also included an informal networking part. On Tuesday evening, participants joined a guided walk through Warsaw’s Old Town, led by a CloudFerro colleague, followed by a social dinner.
The next and final General Assembly will take place in October in Bilbao, hosted by Tecnalia.
