Hannover Messe 2024 took place from April 22nd to April 26th, 2024, at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds in Germany. The event is known as one of the world’s largest trade fairs for industrial technology, innovation, and digitalization. This year, it attracted a diverse audience of over 200,000 visitors, including industry professionals, decision-makers, investors, and technology enthusiasts. The participation of IONOS in Hannover Messe provided an excellent platform for showcasing EMERALD to a wide range of stakeholders and potential collaborators. Taking advantage of the opportunity at Hannover Messe, the IONOS team introduced the objectives and expected outcomes of the EMERALD project to visitors, emphasizing the significance of enabling cloud providers to achieve auditing and certification seamlessly. Flyers provided by the communication task leaders (T6.1) were shown and distributed at the event.

By showcasing our project alongside other publicly funded innovation initiatives by IONOS, we raised awareness about EMERALD and demonstrated our commitment to driving technological advancements in the industry. The participation in Hannover Messe contributed to EMERALD’s communication strategy, laying the foundation for future partnerships, collaborations, and visibility within the tech and industrial community. Overall, the event proved to be a valuable platform for promoting EMERALD, establishing connections, and garnering support for our mission to transform the security certification landscape in the cloud computing domain.
As a pilot owner, IONOS plays a crucial role in the project, validating the EMERALD framework and enhancing the technology readiness level.
